Ronald Weston
Starting in 1987, Ronald Weston opened for business as a lawyer in Hamilton and relocated his practice to FDH Lawyers in 2000. Much of his legal work is concentrated on corporate/commercial law and real estate law.
Ron has been active for many years in non-profit organizations, often playing a pivotal role as a director of such groups. He is an extraordinarily well-rounded practitioner with broad legal experience, which suits him especially well to advise family-owned, private businesses.
"An effective lawyer requires a certain skills set, but the technical skills of a lawyer are often not as important as his or her natural instincts. It is this instinctive component where a lawyer can demonstrate true value to a client."
"For example: an agreement can be several pages in length. However, if it fails to define the roles and expectations of the parties, it has missed the mark. My approach is to first understand the dynamics of a contract, take aim at my client's target and then hit it with the appropriate terms and conditions."
